icooa started on a family trip up the Sunny Coast, talking about how many of the platforms built to help everyday people grow are quietly draining the pockets of the very people who need that money most.
We're not a big tech company. We're an everyday family that knows what it's like to hustle, grow a family, pay the bills and still have that bigger dream sitting in the back of your mind. That's who we're building icooa for — the support workers, cleaners, photographers, hairdressers, chefs, dog walkers, tutors and tradies out there having a go, and anyone with a skill they've always thought could turn into something more.
Once upon a time, this is just how communities worked. Your neighbour recommended their carpenter. A friend told you about the amazing woman down the road who made cakes. Good work travelled because people talked to each other. We're bringing that back — human to human, built for the way we live today.
